We have three wild and beautiful boys. Most of the time, I am chasing them around...everywhere. I dream about what it is like to sit down and cuddle and have chat time with your kids. Usually that dream is interrupted by yelling and "oh my goodness please don't jump off of that!" Pretty exciting. I didn't know anything about being a mom or raising children before I had them. I think that is pretty common. I've had to have three kids to finally get the hang of things.
I homeschool. Also, pretty exciting. I honestly never believed that I would homeschool. I heard that is also very common. Nonetheless, here we are. I definitely have hard days, easy days, adventurous days, and days where I go to bed crying. God has called me to do it, so I want to be faithful and He has blessed beyond what I can imagine! It is a lot easier than I thought it would be...and much more beneficial. You might have heard it been said, "As a homeschooler I think I am teaching my kids, but really it's God using my kids to teach me."
I have been walking with the Lord for over 15 years. I have definitely gone through some struggles, but try to take one day at a time and continue to surrender to Him. My relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship I have and it is the foundation to all other relationships. For now, we are having fun serving Jesus through raising our kids and serving at our church.
